After two frustrating weeks in the rain, the Lake offense knew exactly what to do once the rain came for a third week in a row.

The Lake offense rolled up 457 yards and used a defensive stop to hang on and take a 44-42 win over Pelahatchie on Friday.

High School Football: Newton Tigers Seek First Win After Loss to Kemper County

It was another rough night for the Newton football team last week.

The Tigers dropped their third straight game this season and 15th game straight as they fell to Kemper County 49-6 on Friday night.

The Tigers drop to 0-3 on the season and will host Heidelberg this week.
