Perhaps that’s what the veteran coach likes senior offensive lineman Charlie Carmichael so much.

Carmichael enters his senior season as a three-year starter, mainly on the offensive line for the Cougars.

When Union football coach Jordan Wren has a problem on offense, he’s quick to turn to Mason Tucker.

The lanky 6-foot-5 receiver enters his senior year as Wren’s all-purpose player. He could line up at any receiver position and could even take snaps at quarterback. He also handles punting duties for the Yellowjackets.

JUCO Baseball: ECCC Ends Historic Season in World Series Semis

East Central’s historic baseball season came to an end just one win shy of playing for the national championship.

The Warriors fell 2-1 to Brunswick College on Friday in the semifinals of the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, Okla.

The Warriors finish the season with a 55-9 record and set a school record for wins.
