JACKSON — Gov. Phil Bryant announced today he has appointed Steven S. Kilgore district attorney for the Eighth Judicial District. Kilgore replaces Mark Duncan, who Gov. Bryant recently appointed circuit judge for the Eighth District, which encompasses Leake, Neshoba, Newton and Scott counties.
