The Union tennis team picked up two wins last week.
Union (3-0) started the week with a 4-3 win over Philadelphia and then beat Leake Central 6-1 on Thursday.

Union had little trouble with Leake Central as they cruised to a win on Thursday.
In singles, Ethan Brasher won on the boy’s side, 6-1, 6-0 while Kinsley Johnson won easily on the girl’s side, 6-0, 6-0.
In boys’ doubles, Jude Feasel and Hunter Sullivan won 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 1 spot while Connor Adkins and Jackson Johnson lost 6-2, 4-6, 12-10 at the No. 2 spot.
In girls’ doubles, Julia Harrison and Denver McCoy won 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 1 spot while Cecilia Burroughs and Annley Howell won 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot.
In mixed doubles, Rylee Pullin and Cory Smith won 6-0, 6-0.
Union 4, Philadelphia 3
The Yellowjackets took a tight one-match win over the Tornadoes on Tuesday.
In singles, Union won both matches as Ethan Brasher won 6-0, 6-0 on the boy’s side while Kinsley Johnson won 6-2, 6-1 on the girl’s side.
In boys’ doubles, Union lost both matches. At the No. 1 spot, Jude Feasel and Hunter Sullivan lost 6-2, 6-4 while Peyton Dean and Jackson Johnson lost 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot.
In girls’ doubles, Julia Harrison and Denver McCory won 7-6, 6-5 at the No. 1 spot while Annley Howell and Ava Smith lost 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot.
In mixed doubles, Rylee Pullin and Cory Smith won 6-0, 6-0 to secure the match for Union.
