The Union tennis team opened the season with a pair of losses last week, falling to Enterprise and Madison St. Joseph.
Against Enterprise, Union dropped a 5-2 decision. In girls doubles, Meghan Gram and Logan McGraw lost 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 1 spot. Destiny Edwards and Haley McKinion lost 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 2 spot. In boys doubles, Michael Hurley and Cross Franklin took a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 1 spot.
In girls singles, Tyler Athas won her match, 6-7, 6-4, 10-7 to secure a point. Francelle Parija lost 6-2, 6-2 in boys singles. In mixed doubles, Raal Yarbrough and Haley Townsend lost 6-0, 6-1.
