The Division 6-2A coaches recently released their all-region team.
Division champion Philadelphia led the way as quarterback Asher Morgan was named the offensive MVP while Deoindre Fox was named the defensive MVP.
Lake, who finished third in the division, had six players named to the all-division first team. Making the first team for Lake was Johnny Johnson, Zywon Ledbetter, Austin Kyzar, Tim Norris, Shelton Porter and Danarrious Hughes. Making the second team for Lake was Brady McGee, Kalvin Dinkins, Ethan Walker, Ethan Gray and Kollin Razmi.
Union, who finished fourth in the division, had five players make the first team. Leading the way for Union was Jacob Moore, Kenyon Clay, Dustin Welborn, Jamarkus Jones and Jaheim Gill. On the second team for Union was Colby Ferguson, Trent McDonald and Carlos Hickmon.
Newton had five players make the first team as well. Making the team for Newton was Tyreke Snow, Anthony Smith, Derrick Alford, Tyshun Evans and Tavius Hardy. Making the second team for Newton was Kaleb Trexler, Ravion Nettles, Tazarian Wash, J’Alex Hardy, Avonte Flowers and Desmond Moore.
