The Union basketball teams only had one game last week and lost a pair of games to Pisgah.
The Lady Yellowjackets lost 55-26 while the Yellowjackets fell 67-35.
Union will finish out district play this week as they host St. Andrew’s on Tuesday and will travel to Southeast Lauderdale on Friday.
Pisgah boys 67, Union 35
The Dragons jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 32-point win over the Yellowjackets on Friday.
Pisgah started fast and led 26-4 at the end of the first period and then outscored Union 11-3 in the second to lead 37-7 at the half. Pisgah then outscored Union 18-12 in the third to take a 55-19 lead into the fourth. Union then took the fourth period 16-12 for the final margin.
Kayson Patrick led Union with 12 points on four 3-pointers, all in the fourth period. Quinn Harris also had eight points for the Yellowjackets.
Pisgah girls 55, Union 26
The Lady Dragons dominated the first half and cruised to a 29-point win over the Lady Yellowjackets.
Pisgah jumped out to a 26-7 lead in the first period and then outscored Union 16-0 in the second to lead 42-7 at the half. With a running clock in the second half, Union outscored Pisgah 15-12 in the third and 4-1 in the fourth.
Daltrey Roland led Union with 12 points while Elle Killen had seven points.
