The Union Police Department is actively investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred late Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024 on Mason Street.
According to Assistant Chief of Police Mitch Kennedy, the department received a call reporting shots fired.
“The call came in at 10:53 Pp.m. Sunday night of shots fired at the corner of Mason and Martin Luther King,” Kennedy said. “Officer Grimes, our investigator, came out to work the scene last night. He recovered a lot of good evidence, and the investigation is still underway. We are very confident that arrests are gonna be made.”
