Graveside services for Ms. Brenda Addy were held at 3 pm, Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
Bro. Billy Williams officiated. There was not a public visitation held.
Ms. Addy, age 80, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2025.
She worked as an Assembly Worker at Peavey Electronics for many years.
She also was a member of Clarke Venable Baptist Church, a Sunday school teacher who loved her kids, and a member of the church choir. She loved to read, work word searches, and puzzles.
Ms. Addy was survived by her brothers, Jimmy Rex Addy and Larry Addy (Kathy).
She was also survived by her nieces and nephews, Debra K. Addy, Don R. Addy, Brookes Stevens (Ricky), and David R. Addy.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, William Avery Addy Sr. and Mable Russell and her brothers, William A. Addy Jr., Bobby B. Addy, and Henry Addy.
Pallbearers were Charles Boggan, Jeff Addy, Jake Addy, Wayne Comans, Ray Addy, and Billy Hopkins.
Milling Funeral Home of Union was in charge of arrangements.
