It is an awesome feeling when you put on a pair of pants and find money in the pockets! The other day, I found $20 and immediately began thinking of what to spend it on.
As I brushed my teeth, I thought about how I needed things for the house or my car, or maybe I should just save the money or use it for a date night.
I pondered a good 20 minutes on how to spend this $20. We make decisions everyday.
Some are big deals and some are not, but they all can cause unnecessary worry and stress because we get too caught in them. Instead of relying on our own judgment, we need to be asking God help in every decision we make.
We can’t see the next hour or the next day, but He can. So shouldn’t we give our decisions to the Him who is all knowing instead of relying on our own “know nothing” selves?
I encourage us to put God at the top of our lives and give every decision to Him. He knows every outcome!
The school bells have started ringing again so pray for all the students, faculties and staffs as the new school year begins.
I hope everyone has a blessed week.
