Newton County Schools will be closing at 1 p.m.
Newton Municipal Schools also closed at 1 p.m.
ECCC:
Due to the enhanced threat of severe weather this afternoon and evening, East Central Community College will close beginning at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday, November 29). All activities and events after that time, including the Christmas Spectacular, are canceled.
Mabry Cafeteria will open from 4 to 5:30 for the evening meal. The Grille will be closed.
Newton County Academy is not closing school early, but all after-school activities are canceled for today.
Union Public Schools is not closing early, but all after school activities have been canceled.
