The Union High School Cheer Team claimed their second consecutive Mississippi State Championship in the 2A Varsity Game Day division at the 2024 MHSAA Cheer-Dance Championships. Held at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, the team impressed with a strong performance that secured their top spot among competitors in the division.
Led by coach Baylee Casey, the 2024-2025 cheer team features a talented roster of seniors LaCee Bishop, Carsyn Capps, Landrey Hanna, and Madison Hollingsworth; juniors Posey Edmondson, Julia Harrison, Annley Howell, Destiny Moulds, Rylee Pullin, Albany Rigdon, and Makenlee Yeager; sophomores Sadie Adkins, Maggie Akinson, and Macie Parker; and freshmen Joely Kate Adkins, Braylee Graham, Aspen Lovern, and Hannah Pullin.
