George Fairley was born May 25, 1956 to the late George W. Fairley, Sr. and Pearlie M. Hobson. He stepped out of time into eternity on March 18, 2025 at Baptist Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi.
Deacon George Fairley was a devoted member of Good Samaritans Church of God, where he faithfully served as Deacon. Deacon Fairley was a man who loved the Lord and dedicated his life to serving God and God’s people.
Deacon George Fairley is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Fairley; his father, George W. Fairley and siblings, Earnest L. Fairley, Francean Jones and James Lee Edward and one grandchild.
Left to cherish his memory are his four children, George W. Fairley, Jr., Pearlie P. Fairley, Shelia Fairley and William L. Fairley; siblings, Roy L. Fairley (Ruth) and Eula J. Magee of Brandon, Mississippi, James C. Fairley of Jackson, Mississippi, Edna J. Fairley of Brandon, Mississippi and Sharon A. Brown of Ridgeland, Mississippi; three bonus children, Letoria Crain, Xavier Crain and Tyrone Crain; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
