The Union Yellowjackets picked up three wins last week on the hardwoods, winning all three by double digits.
Union opened up the week with a 44-34 win over Sebastopol and then beat West Lauderdale 47-36 on Thursday. They finished the week with a 63-50 win over Noxapater to finish out the week on Friday.
Union has three games scheduled this week, as they were scheduled to host Enterprise on Tuesday and then play at Noxapater on Thursday and at Newton County on Friday.
Union boys 44, Sebastopol 34
The Yellowjackets got out to a quick start as they took a 10-point win over the Bobcats on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets jumped out to a quick lead as they outscored the Bobcats 13-5 in the first and 13-4 in the second to lead 26-9 at the half. Sebastopol cut the lead to 10 in the third as they outscored Union 12-5 to make the score 31-21 going to fourth, where each team scored 13 points.
Union used a balanced scoring attack to take the win as Dylan Harrison led the Yellowjackets with 12 points. Dorian Hunter had nine points while Bryce Young had eight points. Jamarcus Jones had six points while E.J. Campbell added five points.
Jacob Williams led Sebastopol with 13 points while Kari Michaels and Jaden Mann each had eight points apiece.
Union boys 47, West Lauderdale 36
The Yellowjackets used a big fourth period to pull away and beat the Knights on Thursday.
Each team scored eight points apiece in the first before West led 18-14 at the half. Union outscored West 16-12 in the third to tie the game at 30-30 going to the fourth. Union pulled away in the fourth as they outscored West 17-6 to take the win.
Jamarcus Jones led Union with 16 points while Kenyon Clay added 10 points. E.J. Campbell had seven points while Bryce Young, Dylan Harrison and Jada Russell each had six points apiece.
Union boys 63, Noxapater 50
The Yellowjackets came back from a first-half deficit to pull away in the second half to take a 13-point win on Friday.
Union led 16-14 at the end of the first but trailed 29-28 at the half. Union started to pull away from Noxapater in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 14-7 in the third and 21-14 in the fourth.
Jamarcus Jones led Union with 18 points while E.J. Campbell had 10 points. Bryce Young, Robert Croft and Kenyon Clay each had seven points apiece.
