The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats picked up two more wins last week and improved to 16-1 on the season.
The Lady Bobcats took a 5-4 win over Clarkdale on Tuesday and a 7-0 win over Lake on Friday.
Softball
The Lady Bobcats took an early lead held on to take a 5-4 win over highly regarded Clarkdale. Sebastopol scored two in the first and sixth innings. The Lady Bobcats had six hits as Hannah Boleware and Jaylee Coleman each homered and drove in two runs. Savannah Crout and Cyrish Magculang each singled and scored for the Lady Bobcats. Crout pitched six innings and gave up two runs on four hits and two walks while Kinleigh Robertson pitched the final inning and gave up two unearned runs on two walks.
On Friday, Sebastopol blanked Lake 7-0. The Lady Bobcats scored single runs in the second, fourth and fifth innings and finished with four in the seventh. The Lady Bobcats had 10 hits as Marlee Smith was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Hannah Boleware and Kinleigh Robertson were each 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Savannah Crout pitched all seven innings and scattered five hits and a walk while striking out 11.
The Lady Bobcats will play at Eupora on Tuesday and host the Lady Eagles on Thursday. They will then play at Meridian on Saturday.
Baseball
The Bobcats saw their 10-game winning streak come to an end as they lost both division games to Eupora last week.
On Tuesday, Eupora took a 14-3 win, thanks to a pair of six-run innings. Sebastopol had four hits in the contest as Colby Dooley was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Lowry Moore and Noah Atkinson each singled while Luke McGarrity scored two runs. Atkinson started on the mound and took the loss, giving up eight runs on five hits. Harrison Peebles gave up four runs on two hits without getting an out while Ty Skinner gave up two run-on three hits in one inning pitched.
On Friday, the Eagles took an early lead and scored eight runs in the eighth inning to take a 20-15 win on Friday. Sebastopol had 17 hits but committed 10 errors in the field. Lowry Moore was 4-for-5 with a double and four RBIs while Harrison Peebles was 2-for-6 with two doubles and three RBIs. Colby Dooley was 2-for-4 with a double and four runs scored. Noah Atkinson was 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Alden Wilson was also 2-for-3 with two walks while Luke McGarrity was 2-for-5 with a double.
