William Carey University announces the undergraduate President’s and Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 term. President’s List Scholars have a perfect 4.0 grade point average and Dean’s List Scholars must have at least a 3.5 grade point average; both lists require students to have no failing grade in any class.

Newton Board of Alderman: Patrick Named Chief of Police

In the initial meeting of the newly sworn in City of Newton Mayor and Board of Aldermen, officials unanimously voted to approve removing the “interim” tag from Police Chief McKenzie Patrick’s title. The decision comes seven months after McKenzie was named the interim police chief back in January.
