Newton County High School Senior Emily Terrell was crowned the 2024 Homecoming Queen by the 2023 Homecoming Queen Kaylee Avant during halftime festivities at Cougar Stadium on September 20th in Decatur. Emily was escorted to the field by her brother, Ethan Terrell, and she was presented flowers by NCHS Principal Nick Smith.
