Decatur Christmas Parade
Friday, December 6th, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
Join us for the annual Decatur Christmas Parade on Friday, December 6th at 6:00 pm. The line-up for the parade will begin at 5:00 pm in the back parking lot behind Clarke-Venable Baptist Church. The activities will begin at 5:30 pm with “Decatur Dollars Drawing” sponsored by The Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce and Decatur merchants. Immediately following the parade, East Central Community College will host "Warrior Wonderland” (weather permitting). The East Central Warrior Wonderland will include food, activities, music groups and much more!
Parade entries may include bands, floats, cars, trucks, ATV’s, golf carts, bicycles, or motorcycles. The Parade will not have any equestrian entries this year due to the parade being at night and the safety of participants and the animals. Awards will be given to First, Second, and Third Place Entries. Participants who would like to bring in the “Christmas Season” may be a part of this year’s parade by contacting Decatur City Hall at 601-635-2761 and arrive in the staging area at 5:00 pm.
