Just over a month ago, Union lost 43-36 in overtime to West Lauderdale.
The Lady Yellowjackets returned the favor on Thursday night as they overcome a big first half deficit and took a 53-47 win over the Lady Knights.
The Lady Yellowjackets improved to 11-6 and have won seven in a row.
The Union boys beat West Lauderdale for the second time, taking a 48-41 win over the Knights.
The Yellowjackets improved to 13-2 on the year and have won six games in a row since a 47-45 loss to Lake on Dec. 1
Both teams will be off until Jan. 4 when they host Morton.

West Lauderdale 47
The Lady Jackets fell behind early but forced overtime and took a six-point win over the Lady Knights on Thursday night.
West Lauderdale jumped out to a 17-9 lead in the first period and led 27-21 at the half. After each team scored 13 points in the third period, Union mounted a rally in the fourth, outscoring West 11-4 to send the game to overtime, thanks to a pair of free throws from Ansley Rigby. The Lady Jackets then outscored the Lady Knights 8-2 in overtime to take the win.
Ansley Rigby led the Lady Jackets with 19 points while Eryanna Mason and Kamyia Russell each had 10 points apiece. Keirra Russell had eight points and Keshona Smoot added six points.
Union boys 48,
West Lauderdale 41
The Jackets jumped out to a quick lead but had to hold off a late West Lauderdale charge to take a seven-point win.
Behind the hot shooting of P.J. Gage, the Yellowjackets led 19-5 at the end of the first period and led 27-9 at the half. West got back into the game in the third, outscoring Union 17-8 in the third to make the score 35-26. West pulled within three in the fourth but some late baskets by Gage held the Knights off.
Gage and J.T. Vance led Union with 17 points apiece while Mark Jones added six points.
Union girls 45, Noxapater 10
The Lady Jackets raced out to a 41-4 lead in the first half and cruised to a 35-point win.
Union led 20-4 at the end of the first and then outscored Noxapater 21-0 in the second period to lead 41-4 at the half.
Ansley Rigby and Kamyia Russell led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points apiece while Keirra Russell had nine points and Keshona Smoot added eight points.
Union boys 70, Noxapater 46
The Yellowjackets used a steady supply of offense and a balanced scoring attack to take a 24-point win over the Tigers on Tuesday.
Union led 16-9 at the end of the first and then outscored Noxapater 23-14 in the second to lead 39-23 at the half. Noxapater outscored the Jackets 17-16 in the third before the Jackets finished off the game with a 15-6 run to take the win.
J.T. Vance and P.J. Gage led Union with 16 points while Mark Jones had 13 points and Kenyon Clay added 11 points. Sage Gunn also added seven points.
