As the football season starts coming to an end, this week’s slate of games will go a long ways to determining playoff position for local teams.
Here’s a look at this week’s games:
Ethel at Sebastopol
The Bobcats will host Ethel on Friday night as they try to get back on track.
The Tigers are 4-3 on the season and 3-1 on the field. They have wins over Hamilton (26-8), Leake County (38-6), and East Rankin (43-0). Their lone loss was to French Camp (36-6).
“I give them a lot of credit, they are playing hard,” Sebastopol coach Nick Mooney said of Ethel. They look like they are getting after it and if you can tell that on film, that’s about the best thing you can say to a coach. We just have to cut out the turnovers and I think we will be fine. I think if we can take care of the football, I think it’s a game we can win. But if we don’t take care of the football, they are good enough to beat us.”
