Several players were recently named to all-regions teams in their respective regions.
The Newton Tigers placed 11 players on the 5-2A all-region team as well, led by junior quarterback Tyreke Snow, who was named the region’s Most Valuable Offensive Players. Snow led the area in passing with 2,282 yards and 26 touchdowns while rushing for 748 yards, accounting for more than 3,000 yards of offense.
Snow is joined on the first team with Rayvion Nettles, Isaiah Johnson, Kezarrian Wash, Dontavious Lanier, Kaleb Traxler and Ashton Bedford.
On the second team for Newton was Keshun Lofton, Jaleel Bolton, Emmanuel Robinson, D’Anthony Darby and Zamarion Arrington.
