Things to Do
• The Mississippi Delta Shows Carnival will once again be in downtown Newton starting that Friday night, March 31, and all day and night on Saturday, April 1.
• The BankPlus 5K will take place at 8:30 a.m.
• The BankFirst Car Show returns to the festival that Saturday. For those interested in entering the show, there’s a $25 entry fee.
• The Biewer Sawmill Motorcycle Show, which will take place on 4th Street. The entry fee is $20 and there will be four classes: Custom, Cruisers, Vintage, and Bagger. Trophies will be awarded to all classes, plus Best of Show. There will also be door prizes and a Parade of Bikes.
• The Weir Esco Dinosaur Experience. Show times will be 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., and 2:15 p.m.
