The Newton County Board of Supervisors held a special-called meeting on Dec. 9 to approved accepting some annual bids and to take action on a few other agenda items before the Christmas holidays.
Beginning with accepting annual bids, the board first approved accepting all bids for gravel, with AB Southern as the primary bid.
