Mr. Douglas Russell, age 89, of Union, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.
Services for Mr. William Douglas Russell was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 in the Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Bill Freeman and Bro. William Savell will officiate.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. prior to service on Sunday in the Chapel.
Mr. William Douglas Russell is preceded in death by his parents; W.D. and Cecil Russell.
He is survived by his lowing wife of 69 years, Bonnie Russell of Union, Miss.; one daughter, Valerie Luckie (Tony) of Opelika, Ala.; one son, Dalton Russell (Kim) of Union, Miss.; one brother, Dean Russell (Delma) of Union, Miss.; one sister, Lina Ruth Terrell of Union, Miss.; three grandchildren, Daniel Russell of Union, Miss., Nickolas Luckie (Rachel) of Opelika, Ala. and Alli Salmons (Matt) of Opelika, Ala.; three great-grandchildren, Logan Luckie, Allie Barber and Cole Salmons; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tommy Tucker, Perry Luke, Spike Roberts, Bruce Terrell, Boyd Platt and Terry Tullos.
