Town of Decatur Mayor Lea Ann Rushing presents retiring police chief Clay Garvin with Resolution 90, adopted by the Mississippi House of Representatives. The resolution commended Garvin on his retirement and also highlighted Garvin’s service to the town of Decatur, the state of Mississippi, and the nation.

Murder's in the Heir

Union High School’s cast and crew of Murder’s in the Heir are bringing live theater back to campus after a multi-year hiatus. The student production will be performed Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. and Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the UHS cafeteria.

After a several-year hiatus, Union High School Drama Club is bringing live theater back to campus with a production of the murder mystery Murder’s in the Heir. Showtimes for the production, with a cast and crew made up of 9th through 12th grade students, is scheduled for Friday, February 20, at 6 p.m., and Saturday, February 21, at 2 p.m.
