Newton County coach Bobby Bass didn’t have much to say after the Cougars’ 20-6 loss to Sumrall on homecoming night.
“It wasn’t pretty,” Bass said. “It was hard to watch. We didn’t do a very good job blocking. We didn’t do a very good job tackling. That’s on me. I’ve got to be a better coach.”
