Services for Wanda Jean Temple Reese were held, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Newton, Mississippi.
Wanda Jean Temple Reese was born, April 23, 1957, to Gaddis R. Reese and Shirley Temple Reese.
She graduated from Hickory High School in 1975. She attended Jackson State University.
She later moved to Flint, Michigan and lived for several years; after which she relocated to Gulfport, Mississippi, where she received her associate’s degree in medical billing. She was a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi until her passing.
Wanda was a woman who adored her family. She was a woman of strong faith - a woman with a servant’s heart, a giving heart, loving and compassionate, thankful and grateful to those who showed her kindness. She was very smart and determined.
She is preceded in death by her father, mother and grandparents.
Left to mourn are her sister, Sharnette Reese of Gulfport, Mississippi; brother, Dale Reese of Union, Mississippi; a devoted fiancé and friend, Mr. Paul Lawrence Caldwell of Gulfport, Mississippi; two daughters, two granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, four aunts and one uncle, several great aunts, other relatives and friends.
