A Newton County resident is behind bars in Jasper County for his part in a string of ATV thefts in January.
Jasper County Sheriff’s Department arrested 51-year-old David McIntosh on March 12 in connection with the theft on County Road 13 in the Louin community. He faces charges of grand larceny.
Previously, Jasper County deputies arrested Donnie Jefcoat, 41, Michael McWilliams, 34, Burriel Summrall Jr., 40, and Shon Johnson, 50, in connection with the case. They also face charges of grand larceny.
Deputies say the men were responsible for several stolen ATVs from County Road 10 and County Road 13 in Jasper County.
