Nelda Still came to Decatur from the small town of McCullough, Alabama, to attend East Central Junior College in 1966 and left Decatur as Mrs. Terry Earl McMullan in 1968. She had been born August 30, 1948, to Louie and Elaine Daniel Still, and had grown up about ten miles away from the larger town of Atmore, AL.
