Newton County teams got in a region game last week and came away with a clean sweep of Leake Central.
Newton County will host rival West Lauderdale on Friday. County will finish out the regular season on Tuesday, Jan. 30 as they host Northeast Lauderdale. The Division 5-4A Tournament will begin on Feb. 6 at West Lauderdale.
