It was a rough week for the Sebastopol basketball teams as they both dropped a pair of contests.
The Sebastopol girls lost 55-37 to Pisgah and then 52-45 to Lake.
Sebastopol is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 30 as they play at Enterprise. They will then play at Union on Saturday, Jan. 3.
Pisgah girls 55, Sebastopol 37
The Lady Dragons finished each half strong as they took an 18-point win over the Lady Bobcats.
Pisgah took a 14-11 lead at the end of the first period and then outscored Sebastopol 16-9 to lead 30-20 at the break. Each team scored 12 points in the third period while Pisgah pulled away and outscored Sebastopol 13-5 to take the win.
Jadan Williams and Lakin Musgrove each had nine points apiece while Marlee Smith had seven points.
Lake girls 52, Sebastopol 45
The Lady Hornets lost a tight contest as the Lady Dragons pulled away in the fourth period.
Sebastopol led 11-7 at the end of the first while Lake bounced back and outscored the Lady Bobcats 15-9 to lead 22-20 at the half. Each team scored 13 points in the third period while Lake pulled away in the fourth, outscoring Sebastopol 17-12 to take the win.
Lakin Musgrove led Sebastopol with 19 points while Marlee Smith had 13 points. Layla Rogers also had 10 points.
Sebastopol boys
The Bobcats dropped two contests last week, falling 46-26 to Pisgah and 53-32 to Morton.
