On Nov. 11, veterans were celebrated throughout the country for their patriotism, willingness to serve, and sacrifice for the common good. The Newton County School District rolled out the red carpet for area veterans on Veterans Day by hosting a breakfast, program, and a Parade of Veterans at the elementary school.
