BASKETBALL: Lady Bobcats take down 4A West Lauderdale

The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats managed a big 11-point win last week over Class 4A West Lauderdale.

The Lady Bobcats built an early lead and took a 49-38 over the Lady Knight after falling 44-26 to Lake earlier in the week.

The Bobcats lost both games last week, falling 74-32 to West Lauderdale and 59-44 to Lake.

BASKETBALL: Lady Cougars sweep Kemper, Southeast

The Newton County Lady Cougars grabbed a pair of tight wins this past week.

The Lady Cougars beat Kemper County 36-28 on Tuesday and then beat Southeast Lauderdale 45-32 on Friday.

Meanwhile the Cougars dropped both games they played last week as Kemper took an 80-75 win and Southeast Lauderdale took a 55-44 win.
