The Newton County Academy girls basketball team get to play for another week.
The Lady Generals won two games in the Class 2A North State Tournament last week, beating Deer Creek 52-16 and Indianola 32-24. They then lost 55-28 to Central Holmes and 34-26 to Manchester in the Division II bracket.
