The Lady Cougars opened Division 5-4A play with a pair of wins from Jan. 3-8 as they beat Mendenhall 53-35 and Northeast Jones 52-37.
The Cougars split their first two division games as they beat Northeast Jones 59-56 but lost to Mendenhall 78-55.
