Newton County Academy’s season came to an end last week in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
The Generals fell behind early and never recovered as visiting North Sunflower Academy took a 60-32 win in the second round of the MAIS Class 2A playoffs.
NCA finished the season with a 7-4 record, a year later going winless.
