It was an historic week for the Newton County Academy basketball teams.
Both the boys and girls teams won the district championships this past week, although it wasn’t easy for either of them.
The NCA boys beat Hebron 46-41 in the finals after holding off Columbus Christian 46-45 on Tuesday.
