Swimming: Cheatham Places First Against Top Swimmers in Meet

Macklin Cheatham, from Chunky, recently competed at the Ralph Cocker Classic Swim Meet held at Auburn University. Swimming against the best swimmers from 6 states, Cheatham place 1st in the 100 yd Backstroke and 2nd in the 50 yd Backstroke.

Basketball: Lady Hornets Victorious; Boys Split

The Lake Lady Hornets came away with two big division wins last week.

The Lady Hornets handled rival Scott Central 31-21 and then beat highly regarded Bay Springs 39-37.

The Hornets split a pair of games, beating Scott Central 52-33 while falling 63-60 to Bay Springs.
