Newton County Academy swept a pair of games from rival Sylva Bay last week and then split a pair of games with Prentiss Christian.
The NCA boys won both of their games last week as they beat Sylva Bay 47-30 and then hammered Prentiss 70-7 on Friday.
The Lady Generals beat rival Sylva Bay 36-18 and dropped a 50-41 decision to Prentiss Christian.
NCA will finish out the regular season as they host Clinton Christian for Senior night on Tuesday and will travel to Sylva Bay on Friday.
NCA boys 47, Sylva Bay 30
The Generals grabbed a double-digit win over rival Sylva Bay on Tuesday night.
After each team scored 10 points in the first period, NCA outscored Sylva Bay 14-3 in the second to lead 24-13 at the half. The Generals extended the lead in the second half, outscoring the Saints 12-6 in the third to lead 36-19 going into the fourth where each team scored 11 points.
Ethan McDill led the Generals with 16 points and eight rebounds while Luke Alexander had 12 points.
NCA girls 36, Sylva Bay 18
The Lady Generals outscored the Lady Saints in every period as they doubled up their rivals.
NCA led 8-5 at the end of the first and outscored the Lady Saints 8-3 in the second to lead 16-8 at the half. NCA put the game out of reach in the third, outscoring Sylva Bay 15-6 to lead 31-14 going into the fourth.
Kaleigh Cosgrove led NCA with 15 points while Kelli Hollingsworth added six points.
NCA boys 70, Prentiss 7
The Generals hammered visiting Prentiss as they took a 63-point win against the Saints.
The Generals dominated the first half as they held the Saints scoreless. NCA outscored Prentiss 19-0 in the first and 21-0 in the second to lead 40-0 at the half. With the starters on the bench, the Generals continued to extend the lead in the second half, outscoring the Saints 9-4 in the third and 19-3 in the fourth.
Logan Little led the Generals with 15 points and six rebounds while Ethan McDill had 12 points and six rebounds. Joran Williams had 11 points and 12 rebounds while Wesley Williams had eight points and 11 rebounds.
Prentiss girls 50, NCA 41
The Lady Saints opened up a seven-point lead in the first period and held that advantage to take nine-point win over the Lady Generals.
Prentiss led 13-6 at the end of the first before NCA outscored the Lady Saints 12-10 in the second to cut the lead to 23-18 at the half. Prentiss extended its lead in the second half as the Lady Saints outscored the Lady Generals 11-10 in the third and 16-13 in the fourth.
Kelli Hollingsworth led NCA with 12 points while Kaleigh Cosgrove added 10 points.
