The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats won two out of three games last week on the softball diamond.
Sebastopol opened the week with a 7-1 win over French Camp before falling 11-0 to Raleigh on Thursday. The Lady Bobcats finished the week with a 14-4 win over Noxapater on Friday.
The Lady Bobcats, now 4-1, are scheduled to host Ethel on Monday and finish out the week as they host Noxapater on Thursday.
Sebastopol 14, Noxapater 4
The Lady Bobcats scored nine runs in the third inning and took a 10-run win over the Lady Tigers on Friday.
Sebastopol scored three runs in the first, nine in the third and one in the fourth and fifth.
Sebastopol had 15 hits in the contest, led by Ryleigh Wolverton who was 3-for-4 with six RBIs. Gracie Wilson was 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Josie Tripp was 2-for-2 with a double and three runs scored. Edie Johnson and Alana Gunn each scored two runs apiece.
Neely Wolverton pitched the first four innings to pick up the win, giving up three unearned runs on one hit and three walks. striking out seven. Anna Grace Stewart pitched the final inning and gave up one run on two hits.
Raleigh 11, Sebastopol 0
The Lady Bobcats gave up just one hit as they dropped a run-rule loss to the Lady Lions on Thursday.
Raleigh scored five in the second, two in the fourth, one in the fifth and three in the sixth.
Josie Tripp hadn’t Sebastopol’s only hit and stole two bases.
Neely Wolverton pitched 1 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on three hits and three walks. striking out two. Taylor Watkins pitched the last 4 2/3 innings and gave up six runs on six hits and two walks. striking out two.
Sebastopol 7, French Camp 1
The Lady Bobcats used a big second inning and took a six-run win over the Lady Panthers on Tuesday.
Each team scored a run in the first inning and the Lady Bobcats scored six runs in the second to take the win.
Each team had four hits. French Camp committed six errors and issued four walks.
Josie Trippe singled and drove in two runs. Ryleigh Wolverton doubled, scored a run and had an RBI. Callie Byram singled and scored. Madison McLemore also singled for the Lady Bobcats.
Taylor Watkins pitched all seven innings for Sebastopol giving up one run on four hits and two walks. striking out five.
