The Lady Generals struggled from the field and pulled away in the second half to take a 19-point win over Kemper Academy on Friday in their only game of the week.
“We played hard and had some open shots, we just didn’t shoot that well,” NCA coach Michael Alexander said. “It was just one of those night when your shot was there but they just didn’t fall. We finally picked it up in the second half. All I could tell them was to keep shooting and that somebody would get warmed up eventually. We will take a win any time we can get one.”
Kelli Hollingsworth led the Lady Generals with nine points while Taylor Evans had eight points and Karli Blackledge added six points.
