The Lake Lady Hornets won two of three contest last week.
Lake led 41-26 to Newton to open the week and then beat Philadelphia 57-41 on Friday and Scott Central 42-40 on Saturday.
Meanwhile the Lake boys suffered three losses as they fell 69-40 to Newton, 61-46 to Philadelphia and 46-34 to Scott Central.
Lake will host Union on Friday night in their only scheduled game this week.
Lake girls 57, Phila. 41
With starting point guard Nia Luckett out with a knee injury, the Lady Tornadoes struggled on offense as the Lady Hornets took a 16-point win.
D’Nara Barton led Lake with 18 points while Laneisha Palm had 14 points. Ameria Ervin had nine points while Tra’Shaylah Wilson added seven and Laurel Breland chipped in six.
Phila. boys 61, Lake 46
After a slow start, the Tornadoes pulled away to take a 15-point win over the Hornets on Friday.
The Tornadoes pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Hornets 21-15 in the third and 18-14 in the fourth.
Jaylen Theus led Lake with 12 points while Brady McGee had 11 points. Brady McGee had nine points while Danarrious Hughes added eight points.
Lake girls 42, Scott Central 40
The Lady Hornets needed overtime to take a two-point win over rival Scott Central on Saturday.
Scott Central jumped out to a 12-6 lead in the first period and led 17-10 at the half. Scott outscored Lake 10-9 in the third to lead 27-19. But Lake outscored Scott Central 15-7 in the fourth to send the game into overtime. Lake outscored the Rebels 8-6 in overtime to take the win.
Laneisha Palm led Lake with 15 points.
Scott Central boys 46, Lake 34
The Rebels built a big lead and oak a 12-point win over the Hornets on Saturday.
Scott Central led 19-11 at the end of the first and 27-16 at the half. Scott Central outscored Lake 15-8 in the third to lead 42-24 going into the fourth.
Davonte Rankin led Lake with 12 points while Danarrious Hughes added eight points.
