The Lake Lady Hornets stayed unbeaten as they bashed three more opponents last week.
The Lady Hornets won all three games by the run rule, beating Newton 17-3 on Tuesday, Clarkdale 17-5 on Wednesday and 19-9 on Thursday.
On Thursday, Lake will play at Clarkdale and will finish out the week on Saturday when they host Choctaw Central.
Lake 17, Newton 3
Taylor Duncan was 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs scored and two RBIs. Laurel Breland was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple, three runs scored and two RBIs. Alana Edmonds was 2-for-2 with two doubles while Kate Gladney was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored. Landry LeBlanc had a home run, scored twice and drove in three runs while Kaytie Hillman doubled and drove in two runs. Josie Gibbs doubled and drove in two runs while Abby Pinter scored twice. Tra’Shaylah Wilson doubled and had two RBIs.
Katlyn Lott pitched all four innings for the Lady Hornets.
Lake 17, Clarkdale 5
The Lady Hornets used an eight-run third inning to take a five-inning, run-rule win on Wednesday in a division contest.
The Lady Hornets banged out 20 hits in the contest as Alana Edmonds was 4-for-4 with a double. Landry LeBlanc was 2-for-3 with two home runs, three runs scored and four RBIs. Taylor Duncan was 2-for-4 with two home runs and six RBIs, including a grand slam. Laurel Breland was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored while Kaytie Hillman was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Kate Gladney was 2-for-2 with three RBIs while Katlyn Lott was 2-for-3. Tra’Shaylah Wilson was 2-for-2 with two runs scored while Laneisha Palm and Brantlee McGee each scored two runs apiece.
Lott pitched all five innings for Lake, giving up just two earned runs on eight hits.
Lake 19, SE Lauderdale 9
The Lady Hornets scored 12 runs in the third inning and cruised to a five-inning, run-rule win over the Lady Tigers on Thursday.
The Lady Hornets had 13 hits, including six home runs while drawing seven walks. Kaytie Hillman was 2-for-3 with two home runs, two runs scored and four RBIs. Landry LeBlanc was 2-for-2 with two home runs, two walks, four runs scored and three RBIs. Alana Edmonds was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs while Taylor Duncan was 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBIs. Kate Gladney was 2-for-3 while Josie Gibbs doubled and drove in two runs. Brantlee McGee also scored three runs.
Katlyn Lott pitched four innings and gave up six earned runs while Abby Pinter pitched the last inning.
