In a season light on games, Union lost two out of three contests this past week in softball.
After a 12-0 win over Raymond, Union lost 8-7 to Leake Central on Saturday and 16-7 to Ethel.
Union is scheduled to play a doubleheader at home on Tuesday against Leake County.
Union 12, Raymond 0
Union used a nine-run first inning and took a five-inning, run-rule win on Monday over Raymond.
Union had nine hits in the contest as Camryn Holley was 2-for-3 with two RBIs while Anna Grace Blount was 2-for-3. Kayleigh Vance had two walks and scored twice while Ansley Rigby had two RBIs. Jordan Turner had a double and drove in two runs while Britli Cleveland singled, scored and drove in a run.
Rigby pitched all five innings and gave up three hits and struck out two.
Leake Central 8, Union 7
Leake scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a one-run win over Union on Saturday.
Union had 10 hits in the contest as Dallas Brown was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Ansley Rigby was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI while Anna Grace Blound was 2-for-4. DaShayla Jackson scored twice while Kayleigh Vance had a double and drove in two runs.
Ethel 16, Union 7
Ethel had an astounding 28 hits as they took a nine-run win over Union on Saturday.
Union had 12 hits in the contest as Ansley Rigby was 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. Jordan Turner and Anna Grace Blount were each 2-for-4 with a run scored while Kaydon Lee was 2-for-3 with one RBI. Kayleigh Vance and Abbie Jenkins both singled and scored. DaShayla Jackson walked twice and scored a run.
