After splitting a pair of games last week, the Newton County Academy Generals got in one game last week.
The Generals hit three home runs and got some strong pitching from Ole Miss signee Kemp Alderman as they took a 15-3 win over Leake Academy on Saturday.
NCA, now 2-1 on the season, will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Leake again. On Thursday, NCA will travel to East Rankin before finishing the week at Heritage Academy on Saturday. On Saturday, the Generals will play Heritage at 10 a.m., Lee Academy at 2 p.m. and Columbus at 4 p.m.

The Generals hit three home runs and took a five-inning run-rule win over the Rebels on Saturday.
The Generals scored five in the first, two in the fourth and eight in the fifth. Leake scored its three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
NCA outhit Leake 7-3 in the contest as the Rebels had seven errors and issued 13 walks. ECCC signee Hayden West was 2-for-4 with two home runs, including a grand slam with seven RBIs. Ole Miss signee Kemp Alderman also had a home run and three RBIs. Hays West was 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Austin Upton was 2-for-4. Jax Porter walked twice and scored two runs. Harber Reese walked three times. Jacob Smith drew two walks. Hayden Wall also scored two runs for the Generals.
Alderman pitched four innings without giving up a hit and struck out seven to pick up the win. Wesley Williams one inning and gave up three runs on three hits.
