A year after eliminating Eupora on its way to the Class 2A state championship series, Lake ran into the Lady Eagles again.
This time, Eupora got the last word as they swept the Lady Hornets, winning 5-0 on Friday and 10-0 on Monday.

The Lady Eagles finished out the series on Monday with a run-rule win over the Lady Hornets.
Eupora scored five in the third, two in the second and three in the third.
Eupora was led at the plate by Haley Farley, who was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs.
Harper Doggett pitched all five innings for the Lady Eagles, giving up just one hit with two walks and one strikeout.
Eupora 5, Lake 0
The Lady Eagles got a shutout performance from Harper Doggett to take Game 1 of the series on Friday.
Eupora scored two in the first and three in the second.
Eupora outhit Lake 6-4 in the game.
Doggett pitched all seven innings and scattered four hits and three walks to pick up the win.
Taylor Duncan was 2-for-4 with two singles and also took the loss for the Lady Hornets. Duncan gave up six hits in the contest.
Philadelphia 6, Lake 5
The Lady Tornadoes scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a walk-off win over the Lady Hornets on Tuesday.
Each team scored two runs in the first inning and Philly scored two in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead. Lake scored three runs in the top of the seventh as Laurel Breland drove in two runs with a triple. But Philly scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to take the win.
