Both Lake teams fell in the first round of the Scott County Tournament last week and also lost their division 4-2A opener to Newton on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the Lady Hornets lost a 59-48 battle with Newton while the Lady Hornets fell 56-12. On Friday, the Lake boys lost 45-34 to Scott Central while the Lake girls lost a tough 33-32 decision to Sebastopol.
Lake will return to action this week as they host Union on Tuesday and will host Philadelphia on Friday.

In a non-division game, the Rebels outscored the Hornets in each of the first three periods to take the win on Friday in the Scott County Tournament.
Scott Central led 10-8 at the end of the first period and then outscored Lake 16-7 in the second to lead 26-15 at the half. Scott Central extended its lead in the third, outscoring Lake 14-11 to lead 40-26 at the end of the third. Lake outscored Scott 8-5 in the fourth for the final margin.
Brady McGee led Lake with 11 points while Danarrious Hughes had seven points and J’Lann Broadfoot added five points.
Sebastopol girls 33, Lake 32
The Lady Hornets also fell in the first round of the Scott County Tournament as they dropped a one-point decision to the Lady Bobcats.
Sebastopol led 11-6 at the end of the first but Lake outscored the Lady Bobcats 12-8 in the second to cut the margin to 19-18. Lake took the lead in the third as they outscored Sebastopol 10-8 for a 28-27 lead going into the fourth where the Lady Bobcats used a 6-4 advantage to take the win.
D’Nara Barton led Lake with 10 points while Tra’Shaylay Wilson had six points. Monica Pinkston and Darnesia Jones each had five points apiece.
