The basketball revival at Union continues as both teams swept a pair of games this past week.
The Lady Jackets beat rival Newton County 51-34 and then easily dispatched with Nanih Waiya 44-20 on Thursday night.
The Jackets followed suit as they beat Newton County 55-30 and Nanih Waiya 59-31.
Union will return to action this week as they travel to Noxapater on Tuesday and will host West Lauderdale on Thursday.

Newton County 30
The Yellowjackets built a big first-half lead and cruised to a 25-point win on Tuesday over the Cougars.
Union jumped out to a 19-9 lead in the first period and then outscored the Cougars 17-5 in the second to lead 36-14 at the half. Both teams scored 13 points in the third period and Union outscored County 6-3 in the fourth for the final margin.
Mark Jones led Union with 19 points while J.T. Vance had eight points. Kenyon Clay and P.J. Gage also had six points apiece.
Chris Thomas led Newton County with seven points.

Newton County 34
The Lady Yellowjackets used a big second period to pull away and beat the Lady Cougars by 17 on Tuesday.
Union led 7-6 at the end of the first before the Lady Yellowjackets outscored Newton County 23-7 in the second to lead 30-13 at the half. Each team scored 11 in the third and 10 in the fourth.
Ansley Rigby led Union with 22 points while Keirra Russell, Eryanna Mason and Trinity Lambert each had seven points apiece.
Keasja Wansley led Newton County with 10 points while Remini Nickey had nine points and Jayden Mack added five points.

Nanih Waiya 31
The Yellowjackets outscored the Warriors in every period as they took a 28-point win on Thursday night.
Union jumped out early as they led 17-5 at the end of the first and 31-12 at the half. The Yellowjackets continued to extend the lead in the third, outscoring the Warriors 20-13 to lead 51-25 at the end of the third.
J.T. Vance led the Yellowjackets with 16 points while Mark Jones added 10 points.

Nanih Waiya 20
The Lady Yellowjackets jumped out to a big lead and cruised to a 24-point win over the Lady Warriors on Thursday.
Union dominated the first half as they led 12-3 at the end of the first and 33-7 at the half. Nanih Waiya outscored Union 8-6 at the end of the third while each team scored five points in the fourth.
Keirra Russell had 12 points while Ansley Rigby had nine points and Eryanna Mason added eight points.
