In John chapter 21, we are taught the how the Lord Jesus restored his disciples after they deserted him in his death. The resurrected Jesus had appeared briefly to his disciples a couple of times before this story. In those appearances the Lord had showed them his hands and side, and said, “Peace be with you.”
