This past Saturday, Union Public School District held their annual Beauty and Beau pageant. The elementary, middle, and high school all held their pageant Saturday. Beauty pageants began in the 1850’s with photographic pageants that were posted in newspapers. Beauty pageants like we know it began in the 1880’s.
